Respirator physicals ensure employees who are exposed to respirable toxins are properly protected and help employers make informed decisions about which employees can use respirators under specific environmental conditions and physical demands.

Silica

Physicals

A Silica Physical Exam is required by OSHA to be performed upon hire (or prior to silica exposure) and every 3 years thereafter. Workers who inhale these very small crystalline silica particles are at increased risk of developing serious silica-related diseases, including:

  • Silicosis (incurable lung disease that can lead to disability and death;
  • Lung cancer;
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); and
  • Kidney disease.

Mobile Onsite Clinics

Our Mobile Onsite Clinics offers one of two options, Mobile Health Clinic or our Audiogram Trailer. We can combine Respirator Fit Testing with Audiometric Testing and we can also offer Qualitative Fit Testing as an On-Site option.
