About the Rapid Antigen Test:
- COVID-19 Antigen Testing is also known as a Diagnostic Testing.
- If you have been exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19, you are a good candidate for the Rapid Antigen Test.
- Positive results are highly accurate with antigen testing, with 96.9% Sensitivity
- If you test negative, but are showing symptoms, a PCR or Molecular Test is recommended.

What is a Rapid Antigen Testing?
Antigen tests detect specific proteins on the surface of the coronavirus and are sometimes referred to as rapid diagnostic tests. They sometimes use a long nasal swab, or nasopharyngeal swab, to get a fluid sample, producing results in about 20 minutes.
Rapid antigen tests can be used for screening testing in high-risk congregate settings in which repeat testing could quickly identify persons with a SARS-CoV-2 infection to inform infection prevention and control measures, thus preventing transmission.
