How can we help with Biometric Screenings?

CNS Occupational Medicine offers a unique opportunity for biometric screening at your worksite or within our mobile health clinic.

Biometric screenings offer employees instant feedback and a clinical evaluation to help them understand their risk for various health issues.

These readings establish a health baseline that can be used to evaluate a person’s risk for a variety of issues that can be prevented with early detection.

What is a biometric screening?

Standard Biometric Screenings require a blood sample

Our standard biometric screening requires a blood sample by either having their blood drawn or by a fingerstick.

Time: Approximately 15 minutes

After drawing blood, the screening measures the following:

First

A cholesterol and glucose test with readings on total cholesterol (TC), HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, a TC/HDL ratio, and Triglycerides.

Second

Our medical professionals will take a Blood Pressure reading of the employee.

Third

Our medical professionals will get the height, weight, and Body Mass Index (BMI) of the employee.

Fourth

Our medical professionals will determine the Waist Circumference of the employee.

MOBILE FRIENDLY

All Biometric Screenings can be performed within the comfort of mobile testing unit. Up to 8 employees can be tested at a time, thus increasing your productivity and eliminating the inconvenience of sending employees to offsite clinics. Employees will be back to work within 15 minutes.
